Adding People Manually

Overview

Normally the Import feature is used when adding Students, Staff, Volunteers and/or Vendors. However, there will be times when you want to manually add another person to KeepnTrack. You can do so in the People menu, by clicking on Create a New Person Record in the Tools section.

The only required fields to add a new person is their first and last name as indicated by the blue field titles. Also, if your district has more than one school site, you will have to indicate which Facilities this person is connected. However, there are other fields that you will want to complete to make it possible for them to participate in school events. For example you can indicate if they are a volunteer, student, staff, and/or vendor by clicking on the corresponding check boxes while in the General tab.

Other fields can be completed based on your needs and/or requirements.

Once you have added the necessary information click on the Add button to save your changes.
