KeepnTrack v2.40 Update and its Advantages

Overview

As of August 28, 2009 KeepnTrack was updated to v2.40. This update consists of major changes to the KeepnTrack Kiosk interface including some major changes to the underlying framework.  The changes were made for improvements to speed and performance for all customers.  The new look to KeepnTrack includes some changes to the Kiosk transactions but not the overall process. In other words, although we have a new look, much of how you do your work remains unchanged.

Kiosk Interface

The new Kiosk interface sports our new logo and includes larger text and simplified step by step approach during the log in process.

A new feature allows names of people authorized to check out students to be identified in the student record.

Then in the kiosk when a student signs out of an untimed activity such as an Early Dismissal, this list would appear so the appropriate person can be selected.

Administration Interface

The initial administration screen has a new look. Tabs and subtabs for better work flow now organize the menus.

To Logout go to the main Home tab. The Help tab is also under the main Home tab on a Wiki page. Click on the link to go to the help.

The People tab has a new Applications subtab where completed volunteer applications can be found. This is also where people Imports can be performed.

The new History tab replaces the old Activities tab.

The Account tab contains Account, Access Control, Facility and Operator subtabs.
