Badge Printing
Overview
The ability to print badges allows for visual monitoring of individuals in your school. Most schools want visitors to wear a badge to indicate who they are, why they are there and to indicate they have checked in at the office. You may also select to have others wear badges for similar reasons. Typically badges are printed on self-adhesive label stock. Badges can also be printed on plain paper depending on your printer capabilities.
Account and Facility Preferences
The ability to print badges from the Kiosk is determined in Account and/or Facility Preferences by the checkbox at the bottom of each corresponding section (Volunteer, Student, Staff, Vendor or Visitor). If the checkbox is selected a checkbox will show up at the point of login in the Kiosk.

People Settings
On each persons record under the Security tab is a checkbox to indicate that will determine if a check will be placed in the checkbox on the Kiosk by default.

If the box is checked, when the person logs in, the Kiosk will have a check placed in the box and unless the box is unchecked a badge will be printed. If the box is not checked the person performing the log in must manually check the box for a badge to be printed.

Self-Service Kiosk
The Self-Service Kiosk does not offer the print checkbox option for visitors only. If you wish visitors to have a badge printed automatically when using the Self-Service Kiosk indicate this in the under the Kiosk tab in Operators.
