Volunteer Applications
Overview
KeepnTrack offers an online application for potential volunteers. A volunteer could at a Kiosk enter in an application or an Operator could enter in the volunteer’s information from the individual and complete the online application for the volunteer. The online application can be made available via the regular or self-service kiosk, or it can be made available at a designated url that then can be linked, for example, to a school’s home page.

The online application feature is turned on in the Preferences Section of the Account menu. Click on the Applications tab and click on Enable Online Applications. If you wish a “Online Application” button to appear in either the regular or self-service kiosk, click on Display Online Application in Kiosk. The Application Information field allows you to post appropriate instruction that will appear above the “Online Application” button on the kiosk, as well as on each page of the application. The Application Received Message field allows you to define text that will be displayed upon completion of the application process. The Application Completion URL allows you to define what web page will be displayed upon completion of the application process.
The two columns of check boxes allow you to define what fields are displayed and which ones are required on the application.
At the bottom of this page is displayed a url that will allow access to the online application, independent of being logged into KeepnTrack.
The initial application screen looks in part like this and provides fields where potential volunteers can provide general and required information. Required fields are highlighted in red lettering.

The next screen looks like this and allows the applicant to indicate which activities the person would like to volunteer for.

Once the person clicks on the “Submit Application” button, the applications are then available for review by those that have been given permission to do so.
The list of activities that are displayed on this screen can be indicated in the Preferences section of the Account and/or Facilities menu. Click on the Volunteer tab and you can see an Appl. column. To modify this information click on the appropriate activity where you can check or uncheck the Show on Application checkbox.
